365 Day 76
Things are out of control. I haven't blog in who knows how long. Not that I don't have pictures.
I got the boys stickers for St. Paddy's day and I received my first letter from Tate on St. Patrick's day. What a treat. My first letter. He did a great job. I cried like a baby...full of joy.

Portfolio
I am starting on my portfolio for my class. I have to have 25 pictures and I have started collecting them already. Please give feedback whether you think they are good enough for portfolios.
This one is all about lines and light and shadow. I loved the way it turned out and since I love all that is weathered, I would actually print this picture.

365 Day 66
Two more pictures for my class tomorrow. Late is the theme. There is this old house on the way home which has always made me wonder what was in there and I finally stopped and took pictures. The last picture is of an open window looking into the bathroom. The light was perfect and it tells it's own story.

365 Day 65
Saturday night we had our season tickets for the Union Colony Civic Center to go see Le Grand Cirque. We were on the front row! We really didn't want to be that close for this kind of show but it worked out ok. During the show, there is a mime who keeps the audience entertained while the sets were being changed. We had already encountered this character when he took our pictures before the show. He is on stage telling us how he is heartbroken because he doesn't have a girl and he will now go find one. He jumps off the stage and runs up to the top of the section and back and stops right in front of Jim and I. He askes us if we are together in mime words of course, and we say yes. He goes on his merry way...until he reaches the end of the row and stops. Jim says to me "You're going on stage".....and he was right. UP I go....and not five minutes later he gets Jim to go up to entertain the crowd by dancing while he tries to woo me. Too funny...can you see Jim on stage dancing? We were up there about 14 minutes and had a blast. He even got Jim to go down on his knee and sing "you're too good to be true" to woo me back....We were surrounded by the others after the show wondering if we were part of the show and knew we were going on stage. Funny, they were surprised to know we were from good ole Greeley.

365 Day 64
Working on the word of the week. I tricked a couple of students to run down the hall like they were late to class. Now neither of these fine students would ever really be late to class, they were just pretending. Great models...good sports. The second picture they were going so fast they are just a blur....thanks K and T...don't be surprised if Hollywood doesn't come calling.

365 Day 59
Last night was the big 50 party. We had a great time with our friends and family. We missed all of you who couldn't make it. We had cake, food, beer and loads of fun. We actually closed the place down playing cards and talking. What fun. I hope Jim was surprised. More tomarrow.

365 Day 49
During photography class, we are asked to go out and take pictures off the cuff. The instructor gives us a theme and we go find pictures related to that theme. Sometimes he limits us to just indoors. Many times these pictures are not earth shattering and will not move people to tears but they do fall into the category he specifies. This week was line...here are a few of my shots.
