I have been the worst bloger on the web!! Instead of beating myself up I am posting pictures I have taken over the past two weeks and call myself caught up.

These pictures I took on a Safari during class. Everyother week in my photography class we are given an assignment and take out camera's out that very minute and take pictures. As I was taking pictures of shapes (to be posted later), a heard a train coming. I was really really close to the tracks....My hair was blowing...the first picture is as I was running across the lot to get to the train. My flash caused the train to light up...pretty neat.....the rest are pictures of the train as it passed. I was surprised at the effect the graffitti had on my photos as the train passed. Way cool......

I wanted to take down the mirror and have just a huge framed mirror but did the next best thing and hung a frame on top of the mirror.

The saying is to honor Jordan. This is her favorite saying so when I see it I think of her.....

Today I finished my project. The "Big Reveal" for Jim was tonight. I am so excited on how it turned out. My biggest change was painting the vanity black. I had to prime 3 trimes and paint 3 times. I had to go to Target twice because I was almost completely done and found out I had two side "C". That wouldn't work. The pictures I took myself and are some of my favorite black and whites.

Spent the day with Mr. Bradley James. These are his legs...he is storing up for when he walks, I guess. He is a good eater!

He thinks his Poppy is the funniest guy ever. He loves to sit and look at Jim. They are great together

This is the big guy watching TV. Don't tell his dad but it was HGTV....yikes.

New project started! I am working on the guest bathroom. This is the before pictures. It might take me a few weeks to get to the after cause I have big plans for this bathroom.

Jim said I had to finish some projects I left from last summer before I was able to go on....how boring...so here I am finishing up the trim on the chocolate brown wall. Don't tell him I was on the ladder

Last night we went to see Michael Buble'. Not our first concert but "Oh, my goodness" This kid has a voice that will bring you to tears...and he did for me. He sings old Frank Sinatra era songs and is the only artist that I have ever seen live that is better live than recorded. His voice is so big they can't capture it on tape...no way. I felt like a little school girl, all jittery and goofy. Jim also enjoys his music as well although not like the school girl way.....

I am off this week for spring break and that means....PROJECTS!!! My first project this week was redoing the mantel for spring. The first is the before the rest are the results. You might wonder why 8 and 3 on the plates. 8 is Jim's at the moment favorite number since he won with all those 8's in Vegas. 3 is Drew's number....8 is also Dane's favorite number and 8+3 add up to 11 which is Jim's for reals favorite number. Goofy, I know.

Today was shopping at Park Meadows with Jordan. She is starting school tomorrow so she needed some new clothes. We shopped all day and I had to carry my shoes because I am not really use to shopping all day. She wore me out! Oh, to be 19 again.

Black and White is the theme for the photography class this week. Mr. Bradley was wearing his long underwear today and didn't mind posing for this wonderful picture

Ahhh, spring....Robins fluttering around 12 inches of snow....It's Colorado! No school today for me because of the huge snow storm last night but I could still walk around a get shots of these beauties in the trees outside our house.
