365 Day 26

Mr. B thinks he is hot stuff taking a bath in the sink. He is just 8 weeks old and already able to hold his head up. He's really aware and starting to talk to us. He loves being naked and left his mark for the first time on "Poppy". Cracked me and B up!!

365 Day 24

This weeks photo class pictures. These are my favorites. The weekly word was SMOOTH. Chase's smooth cheeks, my smooth bangs and .....well Jack Daniels speaks for itself. I do have to mention that my assistant, Jim did a fantastic job on pouring the Jack just right...even though it was just two days after his operation.

365 Day 23

Day two after surgery. Jim is home and feeling pretty good. Here is the covered version on his back. He has a newly formed scar that is about 9 inches long.
He is elated that he has no leg pain. The fusion of the L4 and L5
seems to have worked it's miracle. His only complaint is the surgery site. He can't BLT... bend, twist, lift so I get to help put on his underware.

365 Day 22

Day of Jorgy's operation. This is the machine that administered his Morphine...the juice of relief. He was in the operating room about 3 hours and in recovery for about 1.5 hours. He did great even though he has a hard time coming out of sedation. He stayed the first night with his nurses...the real ones before coming home to the pretend nurse...me.

Today we celebrated my friend Libba's birthday. We had "Chick The Legs" for breakfast and Ms. Libba got her very own Tinkerbell cake.

Wednesday, January 20, 2010

Today is Chase's 2nd birthday. Here are pictures of him and me on the day he was born and of our happy boy just a few weeks ago. Time has flown by.
Happy Birthday, Chase.

365 Day 19

Last Picture I took for class. Great looking corn....still standing in January.

365 Day 18

Before

I was off today and started a project to end all projects.... well for this week anyway. Our garage and basement has been a mess. Since my last craft show all my show stuff was in the garage. I didn't have a place to do my crafts so they were all over the house. Not any more...

365 Day 17

Sweet sweet baby.

365 Day 16

The book required for my Digital Photography class came. It's official, I have a class and now I have a book. Hope to now have better pictures.

365 Day 15

Taking pictures of stuff around my house for my photography class. That will be a big part of my 365 at least for the next 16 weeks.

365 Day 14

My guitar...thinking about things I love to do but don't make time for. I promiced my guitar I would play more. I have started the New Year off by at least moving it to the living room so it can call my name. It will make it easy to pick up and play.

365 Day 13

On my way to work...right past my house....

365 Day 12

I completed my end of the month balancing in record time. I balanced within 30 minutes. Now that's a record.

Wednesday, January 13, 2010

I did it!!! I did it!!! I surpassed Jim on the Wii juggling. I am the best juggler....I am the best. Just look at my happy little face.

365 Day 11

Every morning as I drive to work, I am blessed with the most wonderful sunrises. I get to see the face of God every single day! As I drive towards the mountains, the sun is coming up behind me and if I catch it just at the right time, I can see Longs Peak light up from the up coming sun. Shivers.....it gives me shivers. On the corner, there is this huge enormous tree that is the only thing standing on the property after the tornado that nearly wiped Windsor off the map in 2008 swept by. It is not living, no leaves grow on the outstretched brances, all the bark has been ripped off. In the daylight it is as white as a ghost. To me it is a reminder of several things... one, things can change in an instant and if they do, you can still be strong and tall. This morning, with the sunrise behind it, it is a reminder of hope. Amazing.....amazing grace.

365 Day 10

My legs are like noodles, I can hear the carnival music in my head even though it is turned off, and I can't stand in one place without shifting my weight from side to side. Jim has surpassed me on my juggling on my Wii. It is driving me crazy trying to get back the top spot. I am the best juggler....I am the best juggler....I am the best....

365 Day 9

Every four months we complete the dry erase board calendar. We have finished for Jan-April. It gets kinda crazy around our house starting middle of February. First day practice starts is Feb. 22. After that, most days are filled with practice or games.

365 Day 8

We bought a Wii for ourselves for Christmas. You can find me most mornings here....standing on my balance board.

365 Day 7

Ok, it's official. We are goofy about our grandkids. This newest one is what we are all about on day 7 of the new year. Jim says this looks like a mug shot...whatever...it's just plain funny.

Bradley Parts

We are the keepers of B-rad tonight. Couldn't resist taking pictures of his "parts".

He has the cutest swirl of hair on his forehead.

365 Day 6

Jim and I have become empty nesters for the first time in January. Since we have been married we have had one of our kids living with us. It's weird...I thought it would be different....but to tell the truth we miss them all and wish they were back under our feet. My mom says, "This too shall pass". But we have a new little one creeping in on our space. Bradley James, son of Drew and Emily, now has his own shelf with all his stuff.

365 Day 5

I work in a high school as the bookkeeper/registrar. Today's picture is all about the calm before the storm. Jan 6th the students will swarming in the halls and pictures like this will be a rarity. We, counseling office, have spent the whole day getting ready for the kids.

365 Day 4

As I peeked out my window this morning, the dense fog hung almost to the ground. We got a light dusting of snow in the night that made everything seem clean once again. We have had snow on the ground here for over a month and it is dirty and ugly but this morning was a snowbank rebirth. When the sun broke thru the fog, my 4th day picture was found. Looking thru the fence at the scoreboard on the football field and the down the fence line were our favorites. Couldn't decide which was better and will let everyone else decide. Vote on the panel on the left.

365 Day 3

Today's picture is of Jim's puzzles. He does these everyday Sudoku being his favorite and then the crossword puzzle. He ALWAYS does them in pen.....ALWAYS. He says it makes him work harder. He never asks for my help on the Sudoku but sometimes on the crossword...I sometimes help him out whether he asks me or not....

365 Day 2

Getting organized seems to be the order for a new year. Me included. My craft cupboard...organized. Off to the next project....the garage.

1st 365 Picture

My first picture is of one of my favorite old clocks. Time is a funny thing and clocks are just reminders of passing time. This year I vow to pay more attention to time...time management...working time....relaxing time...play time and make it is more balanced. I love clocks and have many and add new ones to my collection whenever I can.

My First Entry....Yipee

I am thrilled to start on this new journey of words. I am determined to complete my project of taking a picture everyday of my reality and posting it. I hope to post every day but in true reality will not but will have a picture or two to add when I do
